Aarambh is a pan-India PC for Education initiative engineered to enhance learning using the power of technology; it is designed to help parents, teachers and children find firm footing in Digital India. This initiative seeks to connect parents, teachers and students and provide them the necessary training so that they can better utilise the PC for learning, both at school and at home.

We at Dell, analysed the current scenario when it comes to PC adoption and usage and realized that PC penetration in India stands at less as 10%. We see that while parents and teachers alike are beginning to realize the importance of the PC in education, they are facing the key roadblock of lack of knowledge - the knowledge of how to use a PC for better learning.

We believe that this can be tackled by enabling parents, children and educational institutes collectively through training and certifications. We provide both parents and teachers, and consequently children, with vital PC usage skills while making computer knowledge accessible.

Creativity, critical thinking and complex problem solving are the three most desirable skills for today’s ‘Digital Indians’, and Aarambh is our effort to hone these three skills with the help of technology. Through this initiative, we have engaged close to 1.5 million students through our Dell Champs School contact program. In association with NIIT, we are aiming to train and certify 1,00,000 teachers from over 5,000 schools across 70 cities.

Come, join our endeavour- Let’s ‘Aarambh’ a new way of learning.
